Emma has worked with FTSE 100s, start-ups and everything in between across the UK & Europe. Her career began in BP’s UK Retail team, generating industry-beating results in declining markets.
Promoted into BP’s European strategic transformation team, her work was seen as a form of best practice globally. She then advanced into BP’s global social media team, creating & curating content for 2.5 million followers on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook & Instagram, before leaving BP to take a Hampshire-based technology start-up through a successful investment round. She then founded her marketing and sales consultancy EMARI - She now has 65 clients across the UK and Europe.
A recent success story is helping a 5million turnover business reduce their marketing budget by 92%, become a Top 50 industry influencer and increase their revenue by 47% in just 6 months.
When not in the office, Emma spends her time salsa and bachata dancing, sailing, travelling or volunteering; she has completed the Fastnet race and raised over £50,000 for charity within the last 5 years. She has two first-class degrees in ancient philosophy & rhetoric...and can also say her alphabet backwards just as fast as she can forwards!
