The business area of opportunity is the newest area of opportunity and offers members the chance to:

• Increase their business contacts in Britain through the JCI National Business Network
• Increase their international contacts through the JCI International Business Network
• Run projects such as business lectures

Business Opportunities give Junior Chamber the chance to enhance the economics of the community by conducting projects to increase the productivity and effectiveness of businesses. Also we have people from successful companies to speak at our monthly to learn how they conduct their businesses as well as successful entrepreneurs.

Portsmouth Junior Chamber will run a business event for the local business community to create mutual awareness of the different organisations and greater networking opportunities.

Again actively participating in the running of these projects helps members develop their managerial skills and experience areas of business they may never have been involved in before such as marketing, seeking sponsorship, budget management and so forth.
